A look back at the various kits QPR have worn through the years, starting in season 1973/74.
1978/79
Adidas came up with another new design for the start of the 1978/79 season. This one was saw a different type of material being used, more in line with the 'rougher' finish more common of the time.
The new kit was the first time Adidas incorpoated both their logo and the QPR badge for the first time. Occasionally, the shirt from the previous season also got an outing.
An all-red away strip was launched for the new season, and would remain until the end of the 1981/82 season when a new design was worn at the 1982 FA Cup final.
This mega-rare match-worn shirt sold for £299 on ebay in June 2012.
