Thin hoops returned for the 2000/01 season - over fussy, with the badge looking uncomfortable on the under-sized hoop.

The new away shirt was based on the same design as the previous season's home shirt, in striking black and silver.

For the trip to WBA in August, with both new kits clashing with the home sides', the millenium away strip was given a final outing.

To avoid more clashes, a third strip arrived on the scene before Christmas. Simple design but nonetheless eyecatching, the shirt wasn't available to buy as a replica so is almost impossible to get your hands on one.
